Fort Nelson est une ville de Colombie-Britannique, au Canada. Au recensement de 2006, on y a dénombré une population de 4 514[1] habitants.
Elle se situe dans le nord-est de la Colombie-Britannique.
La ville a été fondée sur l'emplacement d'un comptoir établi en 1805. Son toponyme fait apparemment référence à l'amiral Nelson[2].
