European society for analytic philosophy

L’European Society for Analytical Philosophy (ESAP) est une association d'universtaires, chercheurs et étudiants en philosophie appartenant au courant de la philosophie analytique et basés en Europe. L'association est de droit suisse et est basée à l'Université de Genève.

Sommaire

Objectifs

L'association a trois objectifs: organiser régulièrement un Congrès Européen de Philosophie Analytique (ECAP), éditer une lettre d'actualités (ESAP-News), et faciliter l'organisation de colloques et d'ateliers sur des thèmes spécialisés au sein de la philosophie analytique[1].

Depuis 1996 le journal dialectica est la revue officielle de l'association[2].

Historique

L'European Society for Analytical Philosophy a été fondée en 1991 par Kevin Mulligan avec un groupe de philosophes dont Pascal Engel, Pierre Jacob, Andreas Kemmerling, Marco Santambrogio, Peter Simons, et Barry Smith[3].
