Juan Garcia Esquivel, également appelé Esquivel, (20 janvier 1918, Tampico, Mexique – 3 janvier 2002) est un compositeur, arrangeur musical, musicien, pianiste mexicain, qui a composé des bandes originales de films.
Sa Musique
Esquivel est un des pionniers de la musique lounge. Pianiste de grand talent, sa musique reprend des éléments du jazz, mais avec peu d'improvisation. Il mélange un orchestre, son propre jeu pianistique rempli de futilités presque baroques, un chœur, ainsi qu'une longue liste d'instruments.
