Le 1. FC Cologne (1. FC Köln en allemand) est un club allemand de football, fondé en 1948, évoluant en Bundesliga cette saison et basé à Cologne. Le FC Cologne est un club omnisports, mais cet article ne concerne que sa section football masculin. Le président est Wolfgang Overath, tandis que l'entraîneur est Zvonimir Soldo. Grâce aux grands succès des années 1960, 1970 et 1980, le club se situe parmi les plus populaires d'Allemagne. A la même époque, de nombreux matches en Coupe d'Europe ont également fait sa renommée à l'étranger. Le supporter et adhérent le plus célèbre est le pilote de Formule 1 Michael Schumacher. L'emblème du club montre la Cathédrale de Cologne, ainsi que sa mascotte, le bouc "Hennes" - qui est également présent au stade physiquement lors de tous les matches à domicile.

Le 11 mai 2008, après 2 années passées en Bundesliga 2, le 1.FC Cologne, remonte en première division (Bundesliga 1).
