Abid al-Bukhari

L’Abid al-Bukhari était une armée, ou guiche, formée par le sultan alaouite Moulay Ismail. Elle était composée d'esclaves noirs ou selon d'autres sources de Bambaras qui venaient d'embrasser l'Islam. Ils tirent leur nom du livre de hadiths de Mouhammad al-Bukhârî sur lequel ils prêtaient serment d'allégeance au sultan. Après la mort du sultan, l'armée s'est rebellée créant ainsi une guerre civile.
