La .17 Mach 2 est une munition, version hypersonique de la .17 HMR, avec un diamètre de 4,5 mm; la cartouche de .17 Mach 2 consiste en une balle de 1,1 gramme propulsée à 530 mètres par seconde et délivrant 155 joules (16 kgm). Elle est à percussion annulaire.
