Cleph ( Clephi, Clef, Clefi ) est un roi lombard d'Italie de la seconde moitié du VIe siècle.
Biographie
Élu en août 572 après l'assassinat du roi Alboïn, Cleph persécute violemment l'aristocratie romaine et byzantine et tente d'étendre la domination lombarde sur la péninsule. 18 mois à peine après son élection, il est assassiné avec sa femme par un jeune garde du corps. Cleph est le père du roi Authari, qui ne lui succèdera que dix années plus tard.
Pendant cette décennie 574-584, il n'y a pas de roi Lombard. Les ducs au nombre d'environ 36 administrent et gèrent leur territoire.
