Clare Boothe Luce (née le 10 avril 1903 à New York – décédée le 9 octobre 1987 à Washington (District de Columbia)) était une rédactrice en chef, une dramaturge, une activiste social, une journaliste, une ambassadrice en Italie et une membre du Congrès, la première femme à représenter le Connecticut au Congrès américain.

Adaptation

Sa pièce de théâtre The Women a été adapté plusieurs fois : en 1939 par George Cukor sous le titre Femmes, par Rainer Werner Fassbinder à la télévision sous le titre Femmes à New York (Frauen in New York) et dernièrement par Diane English sous le titre The Women.
