Pour la série télévisée britannique, voir Last of the Summer Wine.Summer Wine est une chanson écrite par Lee Hazlewood en 1966. À l'origine, elle fut chantée en duo avec Suzi Jane Hokom. Cependant, c'est le duo Lee Hazlewood avec Nancy Sinatra, très célèbre en 1967, qui fit de cette chanson un immense succès. Elle marqua le duo Hazelwood-Sinatra comme étant leur premier grande réussite et marqua le début d'une longue coopération.
La chanson parle d'une femme qui remarque les bijoux argentés d'un homme marchant dans la rue. Elle l'aborde et lui propose d'aller boire du vin avec elle. Mais l'homme ayant bu jusqu'à l'ivresse, tombe sous les charmes de la séductrice. Quand il se réveille, la mystérieuse femme n'est plus là, et il remarque que ses bijoux et son argent ont disparu également, emportés sans l'ombre d'un doute par la charmeuse.
