(2010)Love the Way You Lie est le second single d'Eminem extrait de son septième album studio Recovery en collaboration avec la chanteuse de R'n'B Barbadienne Rihanna. Eminem explique, pendant qu'il écrivait son texte, avoir pensé immédiatement à Rihanna pour chanter le refrain qui à la base venait de Skylar Grey[1],[2]. Le titre est produit par Alex da Kid et Makeba Riddick[3].
Ce titre offre à Eminem son quatrième « Numéro 1 » au Billboard Hot 100. La chanson jusqu'ici s'est vendu à environ 9 millions d'exemplaires .
Le morceau est sacré Meilleur titre Rap/Hip-Hop aux Teen Choice Awards 2010[4].

Clip
Le clip est réalisé par Joseph Kahn. Le tournage a débuté le 20 juillet 2010[5],[6],[7]. Le 22 juillet 2010, des photos montrant Rihanna devant une maison en feu sont publiées sur Internet[8], puis des photos des acteurs Megan Fox et Dominic Monaghan. Ils jouent dans le clip un couple dont la relation semble compliquée[9]...
La vidéo devient rapidement un phénomène sur Internet, engendrant 6,6 millions de visionnage dans les premières 24 heures sur VEVO et 18 millions en 5 jours[10]. Elle devient alors la vidéo la plus vue en 24 heures sur YouTube[11]. A ce jour, la vidéo a été visionnée plus de 400 millions de fois. Elle est également une des vidéos les plus "aimée" du site YouTube, avec seulement 25 000 "je n'aime pas" sur plus de 870 000 votants.
