David Franklin Noble (né le 22 juillet 1945) est un historien américain, critique de la technologie, des sciences et de l'éducation. Il est plus connu pour son travail universitaire sur l'histoire sociale de l'automatique. Il enseigne actuellement à la division des sciences sociales, et dans le département de la pensée sociale et politique à l'unversité d'York à Toronto, au Canada.
