CIMT-TV est entré en ondes le 17 septembre 1978 et se joint au réseau TVA.

Télévision numérique terrestre et haute définition

CIMT compte 8 antennes. Bien que seule l'antenne de Rivière-du-Loup est requise d'effectuer la transition vers la télé numérique le 31 août 2011, Télé Inter-Rives convertira toutes ses antennes.
