L’Advanced Extremely High Frequency (AEHF) est une série de satellites de télécommunications exploitée par l’Air Force Space Command américain. Ils serviront à relayer des communications sécurisées des Forces armées des États-Unis, du British Armed Forces, des Forces armées du Canada et des forces armées des Pays-Bas. Le système comprendra quatre satellites en orbite géostationnaire et remplacera Milstar[1]. Le premier satellite, lancé en 2010, atteindra son orbite d'exploitation après un an de retard dû à des défauts de construction[2].
