Wish est le neuvième album studio du groupe The Cure, sorti en 1992.

Il est à ce jour, leur plus grand succès national et international, ayant atteint pour la première fois dans la vie du groupe - et ce dès sa sortie - le n°1 dans leur nation d'origine, l'Angleterre, et le n°2 aux États-Unis ; rentrant aussi à l'époque dans le Top 10 de nombreux pays à travers le monde.

Cependant, en France le succès fut moindre, le groupe ayant perdu un peu de sa notoriété par rapport à ce qu'elle était dans les années 1980, c'est-à-dire très importante, car Cure était devenu à cette époque-là un vrai phénomène dans ce pays.
