Fantasme littéraire de la sévérité médicale
Ce spécialiste peut-être trop austère a été identifié en tant que modèle de Jack l'Éventreur dans de nombreuses œuvres de fiction littéraire. Mais peu de spécialistes du célèbre criminel prennent au sérieux cette hypothèse, qui garde malgré tout la faveur du public.
