Baccio Bandinelli, Bartolomeo Bandinelli ou Bandelli, ou encore Bartolomeo Brandini (né à Florence le 17 octobre 1493 - mort le 7 février 1560 dans cette même ville), est un éminent sculpteur et un peintre italien de la Renaissance.

Œuvres

Hercule et Cacus à Florence

Attiré par la sculpture monumentale et les effets grandioses, Baccio Bandinelli cherche à rivaliser avec l'art de Michel-Ange, mais sans en montrer le même génie. Il a cependant exécuté des œuvres remarquables :

Mort en 1560, il ne n'a pas fait aboutir son projet de la fontaine de Neptune de la Piazza della Signoria que Bartolomeo Ammannati a réalisé plus tard.
