Uniroyal est une marque de pneumatique. L'entreprise descend des pneus Englebert. Le nom Uniroyal est apparu lors d'une fusion avec un grand groupe américain (United States Rubber Company (?)) en 1958. En 1964, Uniroyal-Englebert construit une nouvelle usine à Herstal. Le nom Uniroyal n'apparaît seul qu'en 1967. En 1979, la branche européenne d'Uniroyal Corporation est intégrée au groupe Continental AG[1].
