Bande-annonce
Au cinéma, une bande-annonce est un clip publicitaire qui présente un film qui va sortir prochainement. Il existe en général une aguiche (appelée 'teaser' en anglais) en annonce diffusée jusqu'à plusieurs mois avant la sortie du film. Suivie ensuite par la véritable bande-annonce, définitive (appelée trailer en anglais), qui est plus consistante.
De la même manière, en télévision, une bande annonce présente un programme diffusée prochainement, en général sur la même chaîne.
Depuis 2003, l'entreprise française Willup a adapté le principe de la bande-annonce au théâtre et diffuse les bandes-annonces à travers les médias télévisuels et internet.
Dans le domaine des jeux vidéo, des bandes-annonces (le terme anglais trailer est très répandu) sont utilisées de la même manière que pour les films.
