L'Homme qui aimait la guerre est un film américain réalisé par Philip Leacock en 1962.
Synopsis
Durant la seconde guerre mondiale, sur une base aérienne en Angleterre, la vie d'un groupe de pilotes de bombardiers parmi lesquels Buzz Rickson (Steve McQueen) et son ami le co-pilote Bo Bolland (Robert Wagner). Rickson, personnage cynique et sans illusion, recherche dans les prouesses guerrières, une aura qu'il n'a jamais connu en temps de paix. Bolland, au contraire, hait la guerre et finit par ne plus le comprendre. Leur relation amicale se détériore lorsque Daphné (Shirley Anne Field), petite amie de Bo, manque d'être violée par Rickson. Celui-ci, peu de temps après, ne parvient pas à ramener son avion endommagé lors d'une mission.
