The Paleobiology database

The Paleobiology database (aussi appelé PaleoDB ou TPDB) est une ressource par la section de géologie et de paléontologie de la National Science Foundation's Biocomplexity program pour la communauté scientifique. Cette base de données est le fruit d'un travail collaboratif multidisciplinaire. Son but est de fournir des informations taxonomiques et paléontologique sur les fossiles d'animaux ou de plantes.

Elle est en place depuis 2000. Cette base est un wiki qui n'est modifiable que par des professionnels dument enregistrés mais n'importe qui peut consulter.
