Temnikov (en russe : Темников) est une ville de la République de Mordovie, en Russie, et le centre administratif du raïon Temnikovski. Elle est située sur la rive droite de la rivière Mokcha, un affluent de l'Oka. Elle se trouve à 137 km au nord de Saransk, la capitale de la Mordovie. Sa population s'élève à 7 460 habitants en 2008.
Histoire
La ville est fondée en 1536 en tant que fort protégeant la frontière sud-est de la Russie. Elle obtient le statut de ville en 1779.
