Exemple de Stickman

Bonhomme allumette, Stickman (littéralement homme bâton) ou Stick figure, sont les noms utilisés pour désigner un dessin faisant la représentation d'un humain simple et de manière très stylisée.

Dans ce genre de dessin, la tête est représentée par un cercle, parfois embellie avec des détails tels que les yeux, le nez et la bouche ; la nuque, le torse, les bras et les jambes sont représentés par de simples lignes droites.

Stickmen célèbres

De nombreux Stickmen sont très célèbres sur la toile. Par exemple les quatre protagonistes de Stick's Not Dead, une série de Newgrounds.com , Stickman Sam ou encore Xiao Xiao , visible sur Stickpage.com.

Exemples

Un des stickmans les plus connus est Xiao Xiao, créé par Zhu Ziqiang. Xiaoxiao étant le titre d'une série de mini-films chinois.

Un autre stickman, bien que moins populaire que Xiao Xiao, porte le nom d'Hugni. Il a été inventé par Ouīga Zhan.

En littérature, une aventure de Sherlock Holmes, appelée Les Hommes dansants, est basée sur un code représentant des stickmen.
