Sphincter d'Oddi

Le sphincter d'Oddi, appelé également papille d'Oddi, est un muscle de forme annulaire qui est situé à la partie terminale commune au canal cholédoque (transportant la bile) et au canal de Wirsung (transportant les sucs pancréatiques). Il correspond à l'abouchement de l'ampoule de Vater au niveau D2 du duodénum.

La dysfonction du sphincter d’Oddi (DSO) est observée en particulier après une cholécystectomie.
