Sol C. Siegel est un producteur de cinéma américain, né à New York (État de New York) le 30 mars 1903, mort à Los Angeles (Californie) le 29 décembre 1982.

Biographie

Il débute comme producteur associé en 1936 à la Republic Pictures (créée l'année précédente), où il sera pour la première fois producteur en 1937 et au sein de laquelle il collaborera notamment avec John Wayne. Plus tard, il travaillera également pour la Paramount Pictures, la Twentieth Century Fox et la Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer. Jusqu'en 1968, il est producteur associé (le plus souvent, dans les premières années de sa carrière) ou producteur d'une centaine de films américains.
