Sigebert ou Sigeberht, Sigibert ou Sigisbert, est un nom et prénom germanique composé des racines sīg « victoire » (cf. allemand Sieg « victoire ») et berht « brillant, illustre ». Il se perpétue dans le patronyme Sébert, caractéristique du nord de la France : Pas-de-Calais et Normandie essentiellement.
