Shabazz est problabement reconnu tout d'abord pour son apparition dans le single des Gravediggaz en 1994 : "Diary of a Madman", et son duo controversé dans "Death be the Penalty" en 1995. Il forma le duo The Disciples avec Killah Priest, et plus tard Celestial Souljahz avec Freestyle des The Arsonists ^[1]. Shabazz sorti une poignée de singles dans le milieu des années 90, tels que Death be the Penalty, Crime Saga, The Lamb's Blood and Street Parables , en anticipation de son LP prévu début 1998 sur label de GZA, GZA Entertainment imprint. Cependant, Il cessa sa relation avec le Clan, qui, rude épreuve, devait réduire ses affiliations^[2].
