Atlach-Nacha

Atlach-Nacha ressemble à une immense et hideuse araignée noire et velue. C'est pourquoi il est parfois considéré comme le souverain de toutes les araignées. Son visage est vaguement humain et il possède de petits yeux rouges bordés de cils. Malgré cet aspect cauchemardesque, Atlach-Nacha est d'origine terrestre : il ne serait rien de moins que l'un des monstrueux rejetons d'Abhoth.

Actuellement, on ne lui connaît aucun culte hormis quelques sorciers isolés. Toutefois, le Liber Ivonis désigne Atlach-Nacha comme faisant partie du panthéon hyperboréen. Ceci s'explique par son ancien lieu de résidence sous le Mont Voormithadreth, un volcan éteint d'Hyperborée. Le Grand Ancien résiderait aujourd'hui sous le continent sud-américain.

Atlach-Nacha vit sous terre où il tisse sans cesse une toile immense, afin, pour une raison inconnue, de relier d'insondables abîmes. Le Liber Ivonis précise que la croyance hyperboréenne veut que lorsque cette toile sera terminée alors la fin du monde surviendra.
