Association for Women in Mathematics

L'Association for Women in Mathematics (Association pour les Femmes en mathématiques) est une organisation à but non lucratif dont le but est de promouvoir l'égalité de traitement des femmes et des jeunes filles en mathématiques ainsi que de les encourager à embrasser des carrières dans ce domaine scientifique.

L'association fut fondée en 1971 par les mathématiciennes Mary Gray, Alice T. Schafer et Lenore Blum. Elles furent toutes les trois les premières présidentes de cette association féminine.
