Ryûhei Sasagawa (笹川竜平, Sasagawa Ryūhei?) est un personnage masculin dans le film, roman et manga Battle Royale. Il fait partie de la classe 3e B du collège municipal de Shiroiwa (département de Kagawa) qui participe au Programme. Il est joué par Shirou Gou dans le film.
Ryuhei fait partit de la bande des délinquants dirigés par Mitsuru Numai (dans le film), Kiriyama (dans le roman et manga). C'est un grand gaillard avec les cheveux longs, un peu stupide car il se fait voler par Kazuo Kiriyama, la mitraillette qu'il avait reçu comme arme pour le jeu. Il se fait tué par celui-ci ainsi que l'intégralité de la bande (seulement dans le film), on peut dire par sa faute.
Dans le manga et le roman, il se fait tuer ainsi que le reste de la bande (sauf Shô Tsukioka) par Kiriyama. Ce dernier leur a tendu un piège au point de rendez-vous qu'il leur a donné avant que le jeu commence.
Sasagawa etait un brutal cherchant toujours à crâner. Il cherchait toujours aussi à coincer Yoshio Akamatsu afin de s'amuser un peu. Numaï devait tout le temps intervenir. Sasagawa fut très reconnaissant envers Kiriyama depuis qu'il a aidé son jeune frère pris par la police pour vol. Kiriyama avait arrangé le coups en faisant jouer ses pistons.
