Asaph est un nom propre qui peut désigner :

  • Asaph ou Assaf (? ), lévite et chantre inspiré hébreu ; il est regardé comme l'auteur de plusieurs des psaumes communément attribués au roi David, mais plusieurs critiques pensent qu'il ne fit que les mettre en musique.
  • Asaph († vers 600), moine disciple de saint Kentigern, puis abbé et évêque à Llanelwy dans le pays de Galles ; saint chrétien fêté le 1er mai[1] [2].
