Ray-Bernice Alexandra Kaiser Eames (née à Sacramento le 15 décembre 1912 et morte à Los Angeles le 21 août 1988) est une artiste, designer, architecte et réalisatrice de cinéma américaine. Elle commence par étudier la peinture abstraite avec Hans Hofmann entre 1933 et 1939.

En septembre 1940, elle commence ses études à la Cranbrook Academy of Art à Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, où elle rencontre Charles, qu'elle épouse en 1941. S'installant à Los Angeles, Californie, Charles et Ray Eames auront une carrière de designers des plus importantes du XXe siècle.

Même si la force créatrice du couple est reconnue, Ray est souvent omise dans leur œuvre commune. Une des pièces les plus connues de leur travail est la Eames Lounge Chair, interpretation américaine moderne du fauteuil britannique Club.

Ray Eames meurt à Los Angeles en 1988, dix ans après Charles.
