Pistes de Reign in Blood Postmortem Raining Blood est le titre d'une chanson et un single du groupe de thrash metal américain Slayer. La musique a entièrement été composée par le guitariste Jeff Hanneman et les paroles complètement en anglais ont été écrites par Hanneman et Kerry King.
Pendant l'introduction et la fin du morceau, une forte pluie peut être entendue en référence au titre de la pièce, « raining blood », qui signifie littéralement « pluie de sang ».
Raining Blood dure quatre minutes et dix-sept secondes. Elle est la dixième et dernière piste de l'album très homophone Reign In Blood paru en 1986 qui est considéré comme le meilleur album du groupe et comme « le meilleur album heavy de tous les temps avec Master of Puppets de Metallica » selon le classement Kerrang[1].

Importance du titre dans le metal
Raining Blood est une des chansons les plus connues de Slayer, avec Angel Of Death (du même album) ou encore South Of Heaven. Raining Blood est joué à chaque concert de Slayer depuis la sortie de l'album Reign in Blood.
Ce titre est devenu un classique du metal et a été repris par de nombreux groupes, notamment le groupe de death metal polonais Vader montrant l'influence de ce titre dans les autres sous genres du heavy metal.
Réutilisations
On peut entendre un extrait de cette chanson dans Gremlins ainsi que dans l'épisode de South Park "Crève,Hippie,Créve"
