Le Qatar Investment Authority (QIA) est le fonds d'investissement souverain de l’émirat du Qatar, présidé par le cheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani.

Investissements

QIA détiendrait 85 milliards USD d'actifs^[1].

Le QIA contrôle un peu plus de 6 % du capital d'EADS, 15,1 % des actions du London Stock Exchange et 17 % de Volkswagen.

Il est actionnaire de Lagardère à hauteur de 6,15 %^[2].

Le 31 mai 2011, le fonds souverain rachète 70 % du capital du club de football Paris Saint-Germain au groupe américain Colony Capital (qui en détenait 95,8 % jusqu'à ce jour)^[3].
