Le Parti ouvrier unifié polonais (en polonais, Polska Zjednoczona Partia Robotnicza, PZPR) est l'ancien parti communiste qui a exercé le pouvoir sous le régime de la République populaire de Pologne (en polonais, Polska Rzeczpospolta Ludowa, PRL) de 1948 à 1989.

Du 15 au 22 décembre 1948, le Parti ouvrier polonais (PPR) et le Parti socialiste polonais (PPS) s'associèrent et formèrent le Parti ouvrier unifié polonais, à l'initiative de Staline.

Le PPS, anti-soviétique avait été infiltré par les communistes pro-soviétques, car son influence pouvait faire opposition à l'emprise de l'URSS. Une fusion avec le PPR était donc un moyen efficace de liquider son influence.

Le Parti démocrate et le Parti populaire uni furent quant à eux utilisés comme faire-valoir du PZPR.

Du temps de la République populaire de Pologne, le premier secrétaire du parti était la personnalité la plus importante de l'État.

Après la chute du bloc de l'Est, il a été dissout en 1990. Plusieurs de ses membres créant le SDRP, un parti social démocrate, libéral et respectueux des droits de l'homme, remplacé aujourd'hui par le SLD.

Adam Schaff était considéré comme son idéologue.
