Os nasal

L'os nasal (ou os propre du nez) est un petit os plat de la face. Il donne sa forme à l'aile du nez. Il possède 2 faces, une face externe et une face interne et quatre bords.

Il s'articule :

  • en haut et en arrière avec l'os frontal ;
  • médialement avec l'autre os propre du nez ;
  • en bas et en avant avec les cartilages du nez : le cartilage triangulaire qui prolonge l'aile du nez et le cartilage alaire qui forme la pointe du nez.
  • en arrière avec l'os maxillaire
