Neuropathie

Une neuropathie est un terme médical, caractérisant au sens large, l’ensemble des affections nerveuses.

Le terme de neuropathie concerne essentiellement les maladies du système nerveux périphérique, c’est-à-dire les neuropathies périphériques. Les autres affections neurologiques sont l’encéphalopathie qui concerne les affections de l’encéphale et les myélopathies qui concerne les affections de la moelle épinière.
