Mujaddid


Dans la tradition islamique, le terme de mujaddid, "rénovateur" (de tajdid, renouvellement), désigne une personne désignée par Dieu dans la première moitié de chaque siècle du calendrier islamique. Son objectif est de restaurer l'islam en son état originel et d'en éradiquer tout élément externe. La désignation d'un mujaddid est évoquée dans un hadith de l'imam Abou Daoud.
