Ma'rib (en arabe مأرب) ou Marib est la capitale du muhafazah de Marib au Yémen. Elle fut la capitale du royaume de Saba (probablement le royaume biblique de la reine de Saba). La ville de Marib se situe près de la capitale yéménite Sana'a. Elle est peuplée de 16 794 habitants.

A Marib fut construit aux environs de -1500 un barrage qui n'a pas d'équivalent à ce jour et qui irriguait une terre pouvant subvenir aux besoins agraires de 50 000 personnes. Une digue de 650m protégeait des crues. Les romains considéraient le peuple sabéen comme le plus riche de la terre. Il possédait des biens. Marib à l'époque comportait environ 20 000 habitants et était plus grande que Jérusalem qui faisait à l'époque 4km² environ.

Un attentat-suicide à la voiture piégée a été commis le 2 juillet 2007 contre un groupe de touristes qui visitaient le site du temple du soleil. L'explosion causa la mort de 7 touristes espagnols et de deux guides yéménites.
