Anne Clark (14 mai 1960 à Croydon, Londres, Royaume-Uni) est une artiste anglaise de musique New wave. Sa musique expérimentale la positionne comme une artiste majeure des années 1980 : les textes ne sont en effet pas chantés.

Histoire du groupe

Anne Clark sort en 1982 son premier album The Sitting Room qu'elle a entièrement composé. Par la suite, David Harrow la rejoint et le duo cosignera alors les albums. Les titres Our Darkness et Sleeper in Metropolis sont considérés comme des incontournables de la musique New wave et Cold wave dans les années 1980.
