Anna Friel
Anna Friel (née le 12 juillet 1976 à Rochdale dans le Lancashire) est une actrice britannique.
Biographie
La carrière de Friel a démarré quand elle a joué le rôle de la lesbienne Beth Jordache sur Channel 4 dans le feuilleton télévisé, Brookside et a créé une page d'histoire de la télévision britannique avec le premier baiser lesbien à l'écran. Depuis, elle a tenu le premier rôle dans le film Rogue Trader, avec Ewan McGregor.
Friel a fait aussi forte impression quand elle est apparue dans le film de David Leland The Land Girls, avec Rachel Weisz et Catherine McCormack. Elle est apparue aussi Le Songe d'une nuit d'été avec Michelle Pfeiffer.
Depuis 2007, elle interprète le rôle principal féminin de la série Pushing Daisies.
Elle vit actuellement avec l'acteur David Thewlis (Remus Lupin dans les films Harry Potter). Leur fille Gracie est née le 9 juillet 2005 à Londres.
