Anna Tomowa-Sintow

Anna Tomowa-Sintow (née le 22 septembre 1941 - 1944 selon d'autres sources - à Stara Zagora) est une soprano bulgare.

Elle fut une star mondiale dans les années 1980, où elle était l'égérie de Herbert von Karajan, épris de sa voix large et pure, sans fioritures. Parmi leurs enregistrements communs, on compte Les Noces de Figaro, Don Giovanni, Lohengrin, le Chevalier à la rose, le Requiem de Mozart, le Requiem allemand de Brahms et la 9e symphonie de Beethoven.

Anna Tomowa-Sintow donne un récital ainsi que des masterclasses lors du Festival de musique du Schleswig-Holstein en août 2008.
