Andrew Gerard Simpson est un acteur irlandais né à Derry le 1er janvier 1989. Il vit actuellement à Donegal.
Biographie
Il apparaît pour la première fois à l’écran en 2003 dans Song for a Raggy Boy.
En 2006, alors qu’il joue au rugby en Australie et au Fidji, il est rappelé pour faire une lecture avec Cate Blanchett en Angleterre. Il est alors choisi pour interpréter le rôle de Steven Conelly dans le film Chronique d'un scandale (Note on a Scandal) de Richard Eyre. Son personnage entretient une liaison avec son professeur de dessin, jouée par Cate Blanchett.
Il a suivi des cours d’art dramatique à la Foyle School of Speech and Drama et à Foyle and Londonderry College. Il étudie actuellement le Droit à la London School Economics.
