Action de détruire, au propre et au figuré. La destruction du temple de Jérusalem. La destruction de Carthage. La destruction d’un état, d’un Empire, d’une famille. Travailler à la destruction de l’hérésie, des abus. Ces maximes tendent à la destruction de la morale.
