DESTRUCTION: . s. f.
Ruine totale. La destruction du temple de Jérusalem. La destruction de Carthage. Il se dit figurément, tant au sens physique qu'au sens moral. La destruction d'une famille. La destruction d'un État, d'un empire. La mauvaise conduite des pères amène la destruction des familles. Travailler à la destruction de l'hérésie, des abus. Ces maximes tendent à la destruction de la morale.
