Association autorisée par la puissance publique, et formée de plusieurs personnes qui vivent sous une police commune relativement à leur profession. Les arts et métiers forment, dans quelques pays, des corporations distinctes. Les membres d'une corporation. Entrer dans une corporation. Les statuts d'une corporation. On dit dans un sens analogue, Corporation religieuse.
