Harmonie formée par plusieurs voix ou par plusieurs instruments, ou par une réunion de voix et d'instruments. Beau, agréable concert. Grand concert. Concert d'amateurs. Concert spirituel. Donner un concert. Le programme d'un concert. La première, la seconde partie d'un concert. Le concert a commencé par tel morceau. Chanter dans un concert. Il y avait beaucoup de monde à ce concert. Il a concert chez lui toutes les semaines. Salle de concert.   Il se dit quelquefois, par extension, de Plusieurs sons ou bruits qui se font entendre à la fois. Le bruit des vents et celui des eaux formaient un sauvage concert qui flattait mon oreille. Un concert d'acclamations. Le concert, les concerts des oiseaux.   Un concert de louanges, se dit De louanges données en même temps par plusieurs personnes.

CONCERTS, au pluriel, signifie quelquefois, en poésie, Les vers, les chants d'un poëte. Prêtez l'oreille à mes concerts.

CONCERT, signifie aussi, figurément, Accord, union de plusieurs personnes qui conspirent, qui tendent à une même fin. Concert d'opinions. Ils ne mirent pas assez de concert dans leurs opérations. Comme ils avaient agi sans aucun concert, toutes leurs entreprises avortèrent.
