MEZZANINE

T. d'Architect. Petit étage pratiqué entre deux grands.  Il se dit aussi d'Une petite fenêtre carrée, comme celles qu'on pratique aux entre-sols. Dans ce dernier sens, on l'emploie quelquefois adjectivement. Fenêtre mezzanine .
