LÉGISLATURE

Les trois pouvoirs qui concourent à la confection des lois. La législature vient de décider une grande question.   Il s'emploie, souvent, dans le sens d'Assemblée législative. Législature nombreuse, complète.   Il signifie aussi, La période de temps qui s'écoule depuis l'installation d'une assemblée législative, jusqu'à l'expiration de ses pouvoirs. Pendant la première, pendant la seconde législature.
